The location was perfect with easy transportation options to the city centre. The hotel was clean and had excellent facilities. I appreciated the friendly and attentive staff. Breakfast was delicious.

I also enjoyed the breakfast included in my stay, providing me with a great start to each day.

This hotel is perfectly situated for those looking for a centrally located but quiet stay. There are several shops nearby, including a convenience store right across the street. It’s just a short bus ride to the main sights of the city, and a quick walk to the train station. The rooms are spotless and come with a lovely bathroom. The breakfast spread is impressive, and the staff is very helpful.

Located in the center. In a quiet area. But still 10-15 min by walk till the Nevskiy Prospekt avenue and the metro station "Ploschadj Vosstanija". It's ok. But next time would try another hotel...at the water...and canals..This hotel is just in the city.

The prices are very reasonable, especially considering the central location in a quiet area with shops nearby, including a convenient store right across the street. The staff at this hotel is excellent, providing exceptional service from the moment you arrive. The rooms are well-maintained and comfortable, with proper beds and good air conditioning. Rooms quite small; hotel location is a good 15 minute walk from the closest metro station and is far from the prettier part of town.

The staff at this historic hotel were amazing! They spoke perfect English and helped us with everything we needed during our stay. The hotel is also located close to shops, restaurants, and public transportation, which made it easy for us to explore the city. One of the best things about this hotel was the cleanliness of the rooms and the attention to detail. Every day, we came back to a clean and tidy room with fresh towels and linens.

While the hotel was in a convenient location for sightseeing, it was a bit noisy at times due to the traffic outside. the hotel didn't offer a lot of amenities such as a pool or fitness center.

Like much of St Petersburg the exterior of the buildings has seen better days and Hotel Vera is no exception. Having said that, the interior is very pleasant indeed and the dining facilities appeared popular. A perfectly good buffet breakfast is supplied and there is a hot & cold water machine on every floor. All the staff were very friendly and booked us a taxi to the airport and at a very reasonable rate. Even as we were leaving the city we agreed that we would stay at Hotel Vera again.

"Delux room" was quite spacious. Close to train station and city center.
